Te Reo Hapanihi

Through interactive activities, such as role-playing, language exercises, and exposure to authentic media, students not only acquire language proficiency but also develop an understanding of the broader cultural context. Students also learn the Japanese writing systems of hiragana and katakana, as well as basic kanji characters.

For your junior classes, you will get a fun taste of Japanese language and culture. We play games and sing songs at an interactive level.

Meet my neighbour, Totoro! In these 9/10 classes, you will have the opportunity to find out about Anime and Japanese storytelling (and listening). What will you do in Japan? How about communicating with a pen-pal?

Continue on your journey to becoming bilingual. You will gain confidence and motivation as your Japanese vocabulary and cultural understanding increase. You will also have the opportunity to use your skills when you travel to Japan!
