The Te Reo Māori curriculum often includes language fundamentals, pronunciation, and vocabulary, as well as cultural components such as tikanga (customs) and whakapapa (genealogy). This subject not only contributes to language preservation but also promotes cultural understanding and strengthens the bonds between students andthe rich heritage of Aotearoa.

Nau mai haere mai ki te Whare Puawaitanga (Our place of Blooming and growth). This is the hub of Maori education within our kura. Students learn Te Reo & Tikanga Māori, and also have an opportunity to develop their cultural skills in Te Aō Haka (Kapa haka).
