You'll continue your musical journey through itinerant music lessons, public and in-school performances and becoming musically literate. You'll also investigate two contrasting works of music and be participating in solo and group performances.
Teaching music is a privilege and I am passionate about my subject because I have the opportunity to witness the many ways in which music brings joy and deep connection to the lives of our students.

The Music room is a space for you to explore your place in the world. Choose from plenty of instruments and receive tuition from expert teachers, or grab a microphone and see what opportunities could begin to grow your chosen skill set. Use our stage or soundproof rooms to practice your skills. Come and join us twice a year for a student lead concert - "Opihi Live!".
