You'll continue your musical journey through itinerant music lessons, public and in-school performances and becoming musically literate. You'll also investigate two contrasting works of music and be participating in solo and group performances.
I teach students Performing Art and Music to build confidence and to enhance new skills learned, to express themselves and connect with other students within the classroom. When students have that lightning bolt moment of "Hey! I can do this", it's why I do what I do.
Express your feelings and ideas about yourself!
The Music room is a space for you to explore your place in the world. Choose from plenty of instruments and receive tuition from expert teachers, or grab a microphone and see what opportunities could begin to grow your chosen skill set. Use our stage or soundproof rooms to practice your skills. Come and join us twice a year for a student lead concert - "Opihi Live!".
